An Unforgettable 250km Journey Across the Spine of the Dragon
The Drakensberg Grand Traverse (GT) is the crown jewel of South African trekking—an epic, high-altitude expedition that spans 250 kilometers across the mighty uKhahlamba-Drakensberg range, from the Amphitheatre in the Northern Drakensberg to Bushman’s Nek in the south, traversing Lesotho’s highlands, wild escarpments, and the iconic basalt peaks of one of the world’s most breathtaking mountain corridors.
Over the course of 10 to 14 days, hikers journey through a vast wilderness with no formal trail, relying on GPS navigation, experienced guides, and sheer grit.
