Trip Itinerary

Day 1 | Distance: 15 KM | Difficulty: Moderate | Elevation: 590 M

We begin from Mnweni cultural center to the trailhead with a drive through the Mabhulesini community to start the 15 km hike to our camp. The journey includes a lunch detour to Mnweni pools and further continues to our camp completing just 590 M elevation.

Day 2 | Distance: 12 KM | Difficulty: Strenuous | Elevation: 1,500 M

The second day begins early, our goal is to leave the Little Berg to settle at the top of the escarpment before sunset. This is commonly the most strenuous day due to the incline.

Day 3 | Distance: 14 KM | Difficulty: Strenuous | Descent

The last day poses a challenge as we descend via Rockeries pass, as the name suggests is a technical rocky descent. The careful approach that one has to take can be exhausting.
