Thendele Camp occupies one of the most remarkable accommodation settings in the Drakensberg. Positioned directly below the world-famous Amphitheatre in Royal Natal National Park, the camp offers panoramic views of the Sentinel, Eastern Buttress and, when conditions allow, the cascading Thukela Falls.

Divided into Upper and Lower Camp, Thendele provides peaceful self-catering accommodation for couples, families and small groups. Its chalets are surrounded by mountain grassland, protea savanna and indigenous forest, with walking trails beginning close to the accommodation.
